MASTER PLAN UPDATE PRESENTATION

CURRENT PROJECTS
The County is proceeding with plans to construct a new passenger terminal building and rehabilitate a storage hangar. A request for non-precision instrument approaches has been submitted to the FAA. The development of the Airglades Industrial Park (with airfield access) is underway!

AIRPORT DEVELOPMENT PLANS
The Airport Master Plan Update currently being prepared provides a framework for meeting future aviation needs of the community. The plan depicts a layout for additional hangars, aircraft parking aprons, and other infrastructure. Locations for corporate and industrial aviation facilities are also identified. On the airfield, plans include re-activating Runway 4/22 (2,520-foot turf surface) and have the potential to extend and pave the crosswind runway to 4,670 feet.
